The 13th eBSN Steering Group meeting convened in the frame of the ICT Uptake for SMEs Competitiveness conference, in Lisbon, Portugal, on 12 November 2007.

The 13th eBSN Steering Group meeting convened in the frame of the ICT Uptake for SMEs Competitiveness conference, in Lisbon, Portugal, on 12 November 2007.

The main points of discussion were the following:

• Information update on the planned EU action on “harmonising eBusiness processes and data exchange standards in the textile/clothing and footwear industry in the Single Market ” and the other ongoing calls;
• Future calls for tenders;
• Presentation of the final report of the project “benchmarking sectoral policy initiatives in support of eBusiness for SMEs”,, by Mr Hannes Selhofer, Empirica;
• Presentation of the final report and demonstration of the on-line tool for “benchmarking commercially available eBusiness solutions and services for SMEs”, by Mr Thomas Renner, Fraunhofer Institute;
• Presentation of the findings of the project ennovation-NET, by Mr Xenophon Tsilibaris, GRNET;
• Forthcoming eBSN events
